The London GAA `S top division 1 was probably the most competitive out of the three tiers,with every game ending in an either win or a loss for the teams.
London`s traditional heavyweights. Tir Chonaill Gaels senior team,Fulham Irish and Kingdom Kerry Gaels were the early season contenders for the division title.
TCG started the season brightly with impressive wins against Parnells and title rivals Fulham Irish.Kerry Kingdom Gaels also started brightly with comprehensive over Neasden Gaels and Round Towers.
As the season progressed t favourites Tir Chonaill Gaels looked like they were walking the division having gone unbeaten and winning every single game they played.
Neasden Gaels and Round Towers were the clubs with the division`s worst record only winning one game each, and losing 6 games each with Round Towers finishing second bottom and Neasden Gaels finishing last.
Tir Chonaill Gaels played the second placed Fulham Irish in the division1 final. The Gaels turned on the style against Fulham Irish getting two goals that helped them over come Fulham Irish.
The Gaels helped increase their lead with points and Fulham Irish just couldn`t catch TCG`S. As the Gaels won by 11 points winning 2-17-0-12 to claim the first division title.
