London Senior Football Championship Team Of The Year 2015.

Working with the Irish post I`ve made a London Senior Football Championship team of the year for 2015.

The back-line boasts plenty of strength and Declan Traynor of Tir Chonaill Gaels gets the nod in goal, one of six players selected from the champions. Traynor was outstanding and was consistent and also made his presence felt on the pitch which was evident when he made two world class saves in the final which makes him my player of the tournament. The defenders in the back line strike fear into forwards as they will know the defenders will make life very hard for them.

Mark Gottsche and James Moran are selected together in midfield. The way these two players control the midfield is second to none and can easily create chances from out of nowhere but also their work rate I believe is excellent they perfect examples of how midfielders should play.

Scott Conroy is the key player on the half-forward line, working hard when push came to shove scoring invaluable points on many occasions.

Finally, Lorcan Mulvey and Kingdom Kerry Gaels have Donnacha McCarthy and Alan O’Hara. Although they didn`t reach the final they put in outstanding performances for their clubs and showed their consistency and experience by doing what players on the forward line should do which is score points and goals. Which is whey they deserve a place on the team of the year.
